Sephora recently had their Holiday Bonus Sale, so depending on your beauty insider status you either got 10, 15, or 20% off your purchase. I always try to pick up a few staples or new products that I want to try during the sale. Sephora only has a sale once or twice a year, so now was definitely the time to buy. I purchased 4 products that I have been dying to try!
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask– I have heard so many amazing things about this lip mask. Right before I go to bed every single night, I have to put on some sort of lip chap or lip moisturizer because I cannot stand dry lips when I go to bed! I’ve heard several people rave about it, so I had to pick it up.
OLEHENRIKSEN Transforming Walnut Scrub– One of my favorite beauty bloggers, Emily Gemma, said that she purchased the scrub in a recent blog post and claimed it as a favorite. I mentioned a couple days ago that my skin has been so dry, so I’m so glad that I ended up buying this! I’m kind of out of several skin care products, and I didn’t really even know it, so this will definitely come in super handy.
Hourglass Veil Translucent Settling Powder– I saw Jaclyn Hill use this in her latest YouTube video. She said that her skin had been so so dry and this setting powder didn’t dry out her face! I had to try it when she said that.
Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil– Once again, I saw this product in Jaclyn’s latest YouTube video! She showed a trick using this primer oil to help combat her dry skin. She puts the primer oil on the back of her hand, takes a beauty sponge and dabs it in the oil just a smidge, and then ~GASP~ dabs the slightly oily beauty sponge on the dry areas of her face! She swore by and I thought it was a super awesome trick to try out! (I just checked and I think this is sold out at Sephora now!)
