Makeup has always been one of my favorite things. I don’t really remember how my love for makeup started, but it was after high school. I started watching a lot of YouTube and that’s when I started buying all kinds of makeup and playing around with it. It’s just so much fun and it makes me happy. I love it when I get asked what my favorite foundation is or what the best eye cream is. I love helping others find a product that works for them! Today, I’m sharing my everyday makeup routine in the order in which I use the products. I love all of these products and have used them all at one point! There are almost 30 different products listed below just because I love several different products in each category!
PRIMER
Benefit Porefessional- Love this primer! I think this is the first primer I ever used & it works miracles.
Catrice Prime and Fine Smoothing Refiner- I love this primer because it’s $6 and it WORKS. All your little pores just disappear and I’m here for that. (I can’t find this product on Ulta anymore?!?) Praying it’s not discontinued because it is my favorite!
FOUNDATION
Estee Lauder Double Wear- This is holy grail status for me. If I need my makeup to last all day, Double Wear. Full coverage? Double Wear. They have a wide color range, too. I love this one & I will use it forever!
Garnier Skinactive Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream- In the summer, this is my go-to foundation. It is super light, but also full coverage, which I love.
CONCEALER
Elf 16 Hour Camo Concealer- I recently just bought this and it blew my mind! It is basically identical to the Tarte Shapeless but SOOO much less! It’s only $5! AND it’s one of the only concealers I’ve ever tried that does NOT crease on me!
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer- Exactly what it says it is- radiant & creamy. Goes on so smooth and doesn’t dry out the under-eye area.
EYEBROWS
Anastasia Beverly Hills Duo Brow Powder- You can’t go wrong with any ABH products. I especially love all her brow products! This powder is so easy to blend and looks so natural!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel- Put this on your brows and they will not move! During the summer, this is great to just brush through them when you’re off to the pool or running errands.
EYE PRIMER
MAC Paint Pot- Love paint pots so much! It is the only product that doesn’t cause my eyeshadow to crease or make my eyelids feel sticky. It is guaranteed to make your eyeshadow last all day long.
EYESHADOW
Morphe Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette- I know, I know there has been so much drama regarding JH recently, but all drama aside, I really LOVE this palette. It is the one I reach for the most. It has all the shades for a neutral eye and for a bold one. The eyeshadows are pigmented and so smooth, and it is such a great price- $38 for 35 shades.
Colourpop Fame Eyeshadow Palette– Once again, you can’t go wrong with Colourpop eyeshadows. They are so pigmented and creamy, and the price!!!! So good.
EYELINERL’oreal Lineur Intense Liquid Eyeliner- I’ve used this since one of my favorite YouTubers introduced me to it. It is so easy to use, isn’t too liquidy, and doesn’t get all over my face. I always go back to this eyeliner!
Nars Larger Than Life Eyeliner- These are soo good. They are super creamy and are safe to apply to the waterline. You can easily blend them out with a brush too.
MASCARA
L’oreal Telescopic Carbon Black Mascara- This mascara has such a unique applicator, but I love how it applies the mascara to my lashes. The brush makes the product so buildable and I love how black this mascara is.
Essence Volume Hero Mascara- I usually don’t buy high-end mascara unless I’m just feeling fancy. That is why both of the mascaras I love are drugstore. I bought this one on a whim and love it! One thing I hate about some mascaras is how they flake and neither of these do that!
POWDER
Dermablend Loose Setting Powder- This powder makes your whole face stay all day long. I wore it in a wedding last May and my makeup lasted all day long through the humidity & rain!
Maybelline Fit Me Powder- The best drugstore powder out there. It is so full coverage and blends so nicely. I apply this underneath my eyes to set my concealer and all over my face!
BRONZER
BH Cosmetics Brilliance Bronzer- OMG this is my all time favorite bronzer in the world. I found it through Tati Westbrook via YouTube & it is wonderful. It is not patchy or muddy looking at all and that was the issue I have had in the past with bronzers. It is so natural looking!
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer- This is my other favorite bronzer. It is matte and makes your skin look like butter. Also a plus that it smells like chocolate!
BLUSH
Tarte 24 Hour Amazonian Clay Blush- These are great staple blushes to have and they last forever. I bought a little mini set of blushes a year or two ago and am still using them! There is so many different colors, so I just pick whatever I’m feeling at the time!
Morphe 8C Blush Palette- For $22 you get 8 different colors, WIN. These shades are the perfect pink color and can be worn all year long! They look beautiful on the fairest to deepest skin tones!
HIGHLIGHTER
Flower Beauty Shimmer & Strobe Highlighting Palette- This is one of the best products at the drugstore y’all. The color pay off is unreal & it looks like a super high-end highlighter for only $14, and you get 3 shades! I will continue to buy this. It is a must-have!
Becca Champagne Pop- When this first came out, I got SO many compliments on it! Random women out and about wanted to know what shade I was wearing! It definitely turns heads!
FININSHING SPRAYS
Smashbox Primer Water- When I first started hearing the hype over this product, I thought it was pointless, to be honest. BUT then I tried it for myself and found it to be truly magical!! I don’t know how it makes such a difference on my skin, but it does! It makes all the products on your skin just melt together and look flawless!
Farsali Rose Gold 24K Skin Mist- This product is also magical. I bought it on a whim because I heard a beauty blogger talk about it and wow! It was definitely a splurge, but it was so worth it. It makes your skin so glowy and that is what I need right now for my dry skin!
LIPLINER/LIPSTICK /LIPGLOSS
Milani Color Statement lip liner in All Natural- Such a great lip liner. There’s no reason to spend a fortune on lip liners. There are so many good ones at the drugstore!
Milani Color Statement Lipstick- I have several shades in this lipstick & it is what I wear everyday! Plumrose, Nude Creme, Blushing Beauty are my three favorites! They are only $5.99!
Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks- I am not the biggest fan of liquid lips, but one brand I have come to love is Jeffree Star’s liquid lippies. They are so thin and comfortable. They stay on through eating and drinking, and they are not drying at all!
NYX Butter Gloss- One of my favorite beauty products! They are like butter on the lips and put the perfect finishing touch on any lipstick. You can also pair this with a lip liner and make a custom-like lip color. I love all the colors, but Creme Brûlée and Angel Food Cake are probably my favorites!
